Hello, and thanks for visiting! It is the first week of what will become the busiest month of the year. Spring break brings thousands to Sedona, but you need to understand that we have literally hundreds of hiking trails. There are always more difficult or more secluded trails out there without the crowd. Come and enjoy!

How busy is it? I enjoy hiking and camping in areas without a lot of others around. Just me and nature!

The vortex areas ought to be interesting, worth hanging around awhile to see if anything unusual happens. If you go, plan to sit around and relax for awhile instead of just walking through.

Hi! There are many, many great trails to hike from easy to very difficult. One of my favorite moderate trails is Fay Canyon west of Sedona. Bell Rock in the Village of Oak Creek is a very popular, easy trail to one of our vortexes. Bear Mountain, on the other hand is much more difficult, but absolutely gorgeous.

Hello! Temperatures right now are from the low 50's to the low 60's during the day. We will often get a given day where it is much cooler or warmer. Dress in layers, so if it does warm up, you can peel them off.

Being from the Hill country of Texas, when we first visited a few years ago, we looked at each other and said how boring everything looks. Then we started hiking in and around Cave Creek area.
The real beauty is once you get out there. We left with a total different view.

What are the best trails to hike at Sedona? We do not have small children. We will be hiking in late January.

Thank you!
